Health and Well-being

The 4th Yoga Day celebration was conducted in Arka Dhama Ayurveda Centre on 21st July 2018.

Programme started at 10.00 am in the morning and was inaugurated by an eminent personality from Kottakkal, Dr Anup Rajan. He spoke on the topic “Yoga in day to day life” and its merit to our health.

Mrs. Vasu Vora from UK, welcomed all those present in the program and explained her peaceful life style through practising yoga daily.

More than 200 students and 20 teachers from Orchid School attended the class and practical session in the Centre.

Srinivas Arka also known as Yogi Arka was the Chief Guest at the programme.

In the afternoon there was an interactive session with the students at the Ayurvedic Centre to convey the real benefits of Yoga in our day to day life along with Ayurveda treatment. It was a wonderful insight about the benefits of Yoga and the science of Ayurveda from all aspects.

Later in the afternoon there was a beautiful session of musical yoga by famous Yoga teacher Kanchana. It was a wonderful experience for everyone.

Following that, Yogi Arka gave a beautiful message on the importance of Yoga to everyone present. This was the real essence of the Yoga Day celebration.

His message on Yoga Day gave a complete understanding of it to all the children who had assembled there. The students were unaware of Yoga and its benefits, they became more aware of it after listening to Yogi Arka’s message, and were very happy to attend the function and to understand the importance of yoga in our life.

The children enjoyed the peaceful environment of Arka Dhama, as they were playing in the garden, visiting the Arka Maha Ganapathy Temple, organic garden etc. This gave them an experience that they will cherish for life.
